Flipp festival 2022

Flipp Festival is a new Icelandic circus festival - the first edition took place on June 25th and 26th 2022 in Reykjavík. The theme of the festival was 'Is that even possible?!', a question that refers to the reactions of many when experiencing circus, but also our thoughts on the subjects of making circus in a place like Iceland. The answer to our question is truly YES, with the Icelandic circus field having expanded and developed at a very quick rate in recent years. Flipp Festival celebrates Icelandic circus culture in its program, with several Icelandic performances and events, as well as inviting international circus companies as part of its debut.
