SKRÍMSLI! 

Sæskrímslin var opnunarsýning Listahátíðar í Reykjavík árið 2024, en nú rísa nokkur skrímsli aftur úr sæ og og ganga á land við Elliðaárstöð þar sem þau munu ráfa um yfir daginn og heilsa upp á gesti á öllum aldri. Afburða sviðsgervahönnun Pilkington Props og hæfileikaríkir flytjendur Hringleiks blása lífi í stórar brúður. Hér gefst tækifæri til þess að heilsa upp á sæskrímsli beint úr þjóðsagnararfi okkar Íslendinga. 

Götuleikhúsverkið Sæskrímslin var upphaflega skapað af sirkushópnum Hringleik og Pilkington Props og pantað af Listahátíð í Reykjavík, og var verkið frumsýnd á hátíðinni 1. júní 2024. Hér hittum við einstaka persónur úr verkinu.

The Seamonsters out and about!

MONSTERS!

The Seamonsters were the opening show of the Reykjavík Art Festival in 2024, but now individual monsters will rise from the sea again and make their way to Elliðaárstöð, where they will roam around and greet audiences of all ages during the day.  Exceptional costume design by Pilkington Props and movements from talented Hringleikur performers bring these life size puppets to life. This is your chance to meet playful sea creatures from our Icelandic folklore.

The Seamonsters were originally created by Hringleikur Circus Company and Pilkington Props, commissioned by Reykjavík Arts Festival, and here we will meet individual characters from the full length show.
